~ Tips for maximum nip fun
Catnip effects will vary in length, depending on the cat. Their nip sensors, an extra scent organ called the vomeronasal gland in the roof of their mouth, can hold just so much so after 15 to 20 minutes the effects of the catnip can wear off and they may become no longer interested in their catnip. If this happens, put the toy out of reach for a while to give their noses a chance to reset.
