Quietly beautiful and seasonal, these handmade purple acorn potholders bring elegance to the autumn kitchen. A violet-purple background layered with oak leaf scrollwork and curling vines and amber acorns. 

The design

A rich, tonal violet-purple background with oak leaf and vine scrollwork in lighter and deeper shades of purple. Intricate and textural without being loud. Acorns are scattered throughout, adding an unmistakably autumnal detail. Pattern placement varies naturally between the two potholders.

Built for real kitchen use

• Two layers of Insul-Brite metallic batting - reflects and blocks heat from pots, pans, and baking dishes
• 100% prewashed cotton - soft, flexible, and pre-shrunk for long-lasting durability
• Large 8" x 8" size - generous coverage for a safe, confident grip
• Hanging loop on each potholder - easy to store on a hook within reach
• Multi-purpose: use as potholders, hot pads, or table trivets
• Machine washable and dryer safe; warm iron if needed
• Handmade one at a time in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home studio in the USA

Not microwave safe. The Insul-Brite metallic batting is not suitable for microwave use. For stovetop, oven, and table use only.
