Tips for Maximum Catnip Fun
Every cat experiences catnip a little differently. Most enjoy the effects for about 15–20 minutes before their senses become temporarily saturated. Cats process catnip's aroma through a special scent organ called the vomeronasal gland, located in the roof of their mouth.

When your cat loses interest, simply put the toy away for a while and bring it back out later, giving their senses time to reset keeps catnip play exciting and engaging.
